Introducing a New Bible Study Program

This Scripture Study brings the Bible alive in new and relevant ways. Beginning at Pentecost the Holy Spirit enlivened the Apostles in their struggles to establish communities of faith-struggles surprisingly like those of today. Starting on Thursday, February 27th at 7:30 PM. Please pick up a brochure (or click on the link below) at the entrances of the church. Drop the completed forms in the boxes provided at the entrances to the Church (or mail or drop off at the rectory). The Rosary Altar Society

On Friday, February 7th the Rosary/Altar Society will present spiritual speaker, Margaret Mannino. Mannino, a seasoned educator with a Master of Arts in Theology and Post Graduate Certificate in Spirituality will discuss, "The Crown of St. Francis," after the 9am Mass in the St. Agnes Room. Telecare Telethon 2014!

The Telecare Telethon is the weekend of Saturday, January 18th from 2PM - 10 PM and Sunday, January 19th from 12 PM to 10 PM. Please tune in on Cablevision channel 29/137 or Verizon FiOS channel 296 to support our Diocesan Television Station. It will be 18 hours filled with man guest "stars" including many of the clergy, religious and dedicated lay people of our diocese. March for Life - January 22, 2014

On Wednesday, January 22, 2014 parishioners from St. Thomas the Apostle and St. Joseph parishes and their friends will travel down to Washington DC to participate in the annual March for Life. We march on behalf of the unborn child and proclaim his right to life. The bus leaves St. Thomas the Apostle parking lot (corner of Argyle Road and Westminister Road), West Hempstead at 6:15 AM. Mass will be celebrated at 5:30 AM. There is no charge as Robert L. Dougherty is paying for the bus. Please call the St. Thomas the Apostle Rectory at 489-8585 to reserve your seat on the bus. Expected arrival back that night is 11:30 PM.
