Liturgy of Remembrance
Our annual All Souls Liturgy will take place on Monday, November 2nd at 7:30 pm in the Church. If you lost a loved one who was a parishioner of St. Joseph and were unable to have a Funeral Liturgy due to COVID 19 restrictions, please call Anna Sirianni at 516-747-7120 or asirianni@stjosephsgc.com and give her the name of your loved one to be remembered at this Mass. Please call by October 27th.

We have had to make so many accommodations in our lives in the last several months. Our GIVING TREE program too, has undergone a necessary change in response to the coronavirus. This year, we are collecting GIFT CARDS ONLY for the families of Our Lady of Loretto parish in Hempstead. Please help us spread the true meaning of Christmas by purchasing a gift card or two for these families who need our support. Parish Blood Bank - Thank you

The Blood Drive was a huge success considering we are dealing with a pandemic. We collected 43 pints of blood and 11 people did the ALEXIS double read cell donations for 22 more units for a total of 65 units. Those who made appointments had a result of 91% who were able to donate as there were only 4 medical rejections of the 27 people who made appointments. The remainder were walk in's after Mass and Brother Knights who donated. On behalf of the Knights of Columbus, I want to thank you as this would not have been possible without your support. On October 1, 2020, the Diocese of Rockville Centre (DRVC) announced that as a civil corporation, it has filed for Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code to manage legal expenses and facilitate settlements with abuse survivors.
