We would like to extend our Prayers and Best Wishes to Fr. Innocent Amasiorah and Fr. Todd Saccoccia as they prepare for new parish assignments. Bishop Murphy has assigned Fr. Innocent as an associate pastor to the parish of St. Anthony of Padua, East Northport. He will also continue his studies at Fordham University. Fr. Todd has been appointed an associate pastor in the parish of St. Rose of Lima, Massapequa. Both assignments take effect on Wednesday, June 25, 2014. We are grateful for the dedicated ministry of Fr. Sunday, April 27, 2014 2:00 PM in the St. Agnes Room. Admission is free, ALL are welcome, a discussion will follow the showing and light refreshments will be served. The film that will be shown is Philomena. This controversial, yet moving film tells the real life story of Philomena Lee, who as a young woman in Ireland in the 1950's became pregnant and was sent to a home for unwed mothers run by nuns. Her son was taken from her and given in adoption to a wealthy American couple. The movie stars Dame Judi Dench and was a nominee for Best Actress in this year's Academy Awards.
