We welcome Seminarian Christopher Loester to St. Joseph Parish. Chris is a native Long Islander, born in Elmont. He grew up and currently resides in Curé of Ars Parish, Merrick. He is a seminarian studying at St. Joseph Seminary, Yonkers, for the Diocese of Rockville Centre, having completed three years of major studies in preparation for ordination. His pastoral experience is extensive, and he comes to St. Joseph from a Pastoral Year in St. William the Abbot Parish, Seaford. He will be with us May 13-July 27. Girl Scout Project

For our Girl Scout Silver-Award project we are collecting newborn clothing to help offset the cost for these generous foster families. Please help us support foster parents through Spence-Chapin adoption agency. These foster parents are volunteer families who open up their homes to care for newborns awaiting adoption. These foster families provide a safe and loving home, in addition to providing clothing and care for the infant’s needs, until adoption occurs. First Holy Communions

Our second-grade students will be receiving First Holy Communion on the weekends of April 29th, May 6th and May 20th. Please note: on Sunday, April 29th, May 6th and May 20th First Holy Communions will take place at the 10:30 AM and 1:00 PM Masses in the Church. The 11:45 AM Masses on those days will be held in the Auditorium. May God Bless them!
