Welcome back, everyone!!! School will open on Tuesday, September 4, 2018. We are all looking forward to a great year!! Nursery, PreK and Kindergarten will have conferences followed by attendance according to schedules mailed to families. Our Virtue of the Year is Empathy. We have interactive TV’s to replace some of our older SmartBoards and it is amazing what they can do!! Our 6th, 7th and 8th graders will all have dedicated ChromeBooks. Are you aware that the Diocese of Rockville Centre requires all volunteers (18 years or older) to attend the Virtus class? CYO Coaches, Religious Education, Catechists, Cantors, Ushers, Parish Volunteers are all required to complete the Virtus training course, if they have not yet done so. It’s Official: St. Joseph’s is going to Oberammergau for Passion Play 2020 Our parish Pilgrimage to the Holy Land 2019, is well underway. We have met our required number of pilgrims, so we are definitely going to visit the shrines in the land where Jesus walked. (There are only four seats remaining for those who still wish to join us.)
