Church Repairs Nearing Completion

Posted on November 19, 2018 in: General News

We are happy to inform our parishioners that the repair/renovation work on the church is nearing completion. The interior repair/repainting work has been completed. We thank you for your patience during some of the upheaval at daily Mass. The exterior pointing, flat roof, and parapet repairs are also almost complete. Access through the Fifth Street vestibule should no longer be impaired.

As the work is almost complete, there still remain outstanding expenses. Additional donations will be gratefully accepted. Parishioners wishing to contribute to the Capital Campaign fund should use the pledge form in the bulletin. Checks should be marked “Capital Campaign” or “Church Capital Repairs” to go toward these expenses.

As we see this work completed we will enjoy a beautifully restored edifice, keeping St. Joseph’s church the pride of our parish and a jewel in our diocese.

Our thanks to all!
