"Given the latest recommendations from the CDC and the fact that Nassau County has been highlighted as an area of special concern for increasing infections, and recognizing that our care for the health and welfare of our parishioners and guests as an expression of Christian charity, we suggest that those attending Mass, even if vaccinated, resume wearing masks while
they are in the church for the present. We hope this need is temporary. Masks will be available in the sacristy for those who need them. This is not a requirement and no one will be turned away from Mass who is not wearing a mask, but we encourage our parishioners to wear face coverings. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding."
We ask parishioners to maintain appropriate social distancing (it need not be exactly 6 feet) from other worshippers in church and in the pews.
The general dispensation from the obligation to attend Sunday and Holy Days of Obligation Masses will end the weekend of Saturday/Sunday, August 14/15, 2021
Please be aware of the peace of mind of fellow parishioners.
